There's one thing that never fails to disappoint, and that's bagels. Bagels are great to have for breakfast, they are filling and can go with just about anything. However I decided to try cooking my own so I could personalize the bagel to my personal preference. I got my recipe from here and have not looked back since. You could make a batch over the weekend and then have them throughout the week, they are really very versatile and low fat!! Probably one of my favourite toppings on a bagel is a poached egg with a sprinkling of ground pepper. Mm scrumptious.
